July Volunteers of the Month!

Did you know? Volunteers give more than 46,000 hours a year to help Central Florida pets.  Take a moment to say thanks on our Facebook page now.

maryMary has accumulated over 900 hours in her 2 years of service with our Sanford shelter. Not only does she socialize our shelter cats at least two days a week, but she also assist in training new volunteers in the cattery. We are so appreciative of Mary’s dedication and eagerness to serve the furry felines in our shelter!

kristenKristen has a heart of gold and loves on our dogs like no other! Spending at least 10 hours a week exercising and socializing our pups, she has become a favorite among our four-legged friends. Whether she is running around the play yards, assisting with training new volunteers or taking pictures of our current residents- we couldn’t thank Kristen enough for all her hard work, compassion and dedication to our shelter pups!

StephStephanie has been a volunteer at Pet Alliance for a little over 3 years and has served 500 hours with us! She has served as a Kitty Cuddler and Kennel Coach. She not only serves in those roles, but has taken on training other volunteers as both those volunteer opportunities. We are so thankful for Stephanie’s sweet demeanor and positive attitude. Her love of animals is apparent because of her consistency and dedication to the cats in the shelter. Thank you Stephanie for all you do! We are so proud to have you on our team!

carriePaulCarrie and Paul are both individually amazing, but as a team they really rock! I couldn’t pick one without also having the other as volunteer of the month. Carrie and Paul truly care about the animals in the shelter and do whatever is needed to get them out of their kennels and adopted. They don’t volunteer for any special recognition or praise, they truly have a heart for the dogs up for adoption. They always step up to the plate when help is needed and work hard while they are here. Thank you so much for all you do! We truly appreciate it!

All Pet Alliance locations are closed Saturday, February 10. Come see us at Paws in the Park
