Say, “Hello!” to Orlando’s Cutest Pets

Thank you for helping raise a record breaking $55,154 for Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando shelter pets as we searched for Orlando’s Cutest Pet!

We are excited to announce the Grand Prize winners (the top vote recipients in each category – dog and cat) who will have their pet’s image, name and short story featured on the wine label for the 2021 My Best Friend wine produced by Quantum Leap Winery in Orlando, Florida.

Additional prizes will be awarded to our 2nd-10th place runners-up, who will have their pet featured on a custom wine label and their very own case (or half-case) of wine!

Again, we thank YOU for your support! Proceeds from the photo contest and the sale of the wine benefit the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando to shelter pets in need. Winners and finalists will be contacted this week about your prizes and to confirm the photo you would like on your wine label.

And the Winners are...

Pet Parent: Ileysha

We were looking for a kitty so we can have some company at home as my husband and I don’t have any children.  After browsing several shelters for hours, and right about to leave, my husband told me “take a look at this one.” There was this Tiny Tiny kitty diagnosed with FIV sitting alone. I cried when we finished all her paperwork I was so happy, she came home with us that evening. Tinki has been a joy to our lives.

Pet Parent: Liz

“Luci in the sky” came to us from a rescue near and dear to our hearts. Our older dog had recently lost his companion and we couldn’t have hoped for a better fit then the fire cracker she is. Sweet as a button, feisty and fierce (in her own mind) she is the perfect fit for our clan and keeps her new big Aussie fur brother in line. She’s our favorite rescue story.

Thank you Quantum Leap Winery!

This contest would not be possible without the generous support of Quantum Leap Winery! Since the My Best Friend contest launched in 2014, more than $300,000 has been raised through contest votes and sales of the My Best Friend and Kaley’s Rescue Red wines. This year broke all the records – it was the most entries and most money raised to support homeless pets in Central Florida.

If you haven’t been to Quantum Leap Winery, we encourage you to check them out! You can support a local small business and Pet Alliance through your purchase of wine! What better way to enjoy a glass of wine then knowing that you are also helping to do some good in your community!

All Pet Alliance locations are closed Saturday, February 10. Come see us at Paws in the Park
