Create a Meaningful Team-Building Experience with Volunteer Group Opportunities

There’s laser tag, escape rooms, team dinners, but a truly meaningful team-building experience is giving back to the community

And what better way to give back to than to do a team-building experience at Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. Pet Alliance offers a unique two-hour opportunity where a group of up to 20 of your best pals, coworkers, or family gets to enrich the lives of our shelter dogs and cats.

You’ll learn all about Pet Alliance’s history as the region’s oldest and largest animal welfare agency (a dog or cat teaches part of the class to keep things interesting).

Then take a tour, and move on to a hands-on activity that helps our shelter pets, and our shelter team.

You’ll even get a behind the scenes look at how our shelter operates and hand out treats to our ever grateful shelter pets (we dare you not to fall in love and take one home). Some of the activities include washing dogs (bring your rubber boots), making enrichment for cats (who doesn’t love a cat on catnip?), painting a room or area in the shelter, helping in the garden, or even going on a pack walk.

Enrichment is a big part of Pet Alliance’s daily routine and even just the simple gift of a treat is a way to keep our shelter dogs and cats preoccupied and not stressed.  All of these activities are essential to the care of the dogs and cats and are truly valuable to our shelter.

To make memories and a difference at Pet Alliance it’s really easy.  Visit our group volunteering form:

Fill out your name, contact information, number of people and a few dates you’d like to visit.  The volunteer manager will coordinate and then you and your team will be wagging your tails with excitement at the opportunity to make a shelter pet’s day.

Pet Alliance is a 501c3 and is run entirely off donations from our community.  Due to this, we do ask for a $250 donation.  We are able to work with groups that are able to secure grants or have workplace giving opportunities.
