Pumpkin Dog Cookies Recipe

• 1 1/2 C whole wheat flour
• 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
• 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
• 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
• 1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
• 4 Tablespoons Crisco
• 1 Whole Egg
• 1/2 Cup Buttermilk

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine dry ingredients, cut in shortening.  Beat wet ingredients, combine with four mix.  Drop by tablespoons onto increased cookie sheet and bake 12-15 minutes.
